It has a simple structure (composed of four parts such as the cover), convenient assembly and disassembly, no need to move the connected two shafts during disassembly, compact size, and light weight , It has the advantages of compensation ability, low requirements for installation accuracy, long working life, low cost and so on.

Roller chain couplings and chain couplings use a common chain to mesh with two side-by-side sprockets with the same number of teeth. The main difference between chain couplings of different structure types is that they use different chains. Common ones have double rows. Roller chain couplings, single-row roller chain couplings, toothed chain couplings, nylon chain couplings, etc.The performance of the double-row roller chain coupling is better than that of other structural types. It is widely used (KC series sprocket coupling), and my country has also formulated it as a standard (GB6069-86).

It can be used in the shaft transmission of textile, agricultural machinery, lifting and transportation, engineering, mining, light industry, chemical industry and other machinery. It is suitable for high temperature, humidity and dusty working conditions. It is not suitable for high speed, severe impact load and transmission of axial force. The chain coupling should work under the condition of good lubrication and protective cover.
