Hangzhou GYD type (formerly YLD type) has centering tenon flange coupling
The GYD type (formerly YLD type) has a centering tenon flange coupling is a rigid coupling, which is to connect two flanged half couplings with ordinary flat keys to the two shafts, and then use bolts to connect the two shafts. The half couplings are connected as a whole to transmit movement and torque.
Flange coupling (also called flange coupling) is the use of bolts to connect two flange (flange) disc type half couplings. The two half couplings are respectively connected with two shafts by keys to realize two shafts. Connect, transmit torque and movement.It consists of two flanged half couplings connected by bolts. The flange shoulders and grooves of the two coupling halves are centered. The torque is transmitted by the friction between the contact surfaces of the two coupling halves. The half couplings are connected by ordinary bolts.The reamed hole is used for centering, and the torque transmission between the bolt and the bolt hole wall is directly used. The structure is simple, the manufacturing is convenient, the cost is low, the assembly and disassembly, and the maintenance are simpler, the transmission torque is large, and the two shafts can have Higher centering accuracy is generally used for shaft transmissions with stable load, high speed or high transmission accuracy requirements.
GYD type (formerly YLD type) has the structure of centering tenon flange coupling:
①Relying on reamed holes and bolts to realize the two-axis centering and relying on the bolt rod to bear extrusion and shear to transmit torque;
②It is centered by matching the convex shoulder on one half coupling with the groove on the other half coupling.The bolts connecting the two half-couplings can use ordinary bolts of grade B and the torque is transmitted by the frictional moment of the joint surface of the two half-couplings.
The material of GYD type (formerly YLD type) with centering and tenon flange coupling can be gray cast iron or carbon steel, and cast steel or forged steel should be used for heavy load or when the peripheral speed is greater than 30 m/s.Flange couplings have high requirements for the neutrality of the two shafts. When there is relative displacement between the two shafts, it will cause additional loads in the machine parts and worsen the working conditions. This is its main disadvantage.However, due to its simple structure, low cost, and large torque transmission, it is often used when the speed is low, there is no impact, the shaft is rigid, and the neutrality is good.
